Went south on 95 yesterday and got off at the Thornburg exit. West a couple of miles to the SW Jackson "Shrine." Actually it's the small building (was the plantation office at the time) where SW died after being wounded at Chanclorsville (sp). They have the bed frame, a blanket, and the clock that was with him when he died - the clock (from 1832 still works!). Then I headed down Guinea Station road and a couple other roads (who knows where). Beautiful day and some pretty nice scenery - pretty flat country, but some nice roads. I'm gonna explore that area some more in the future. Wish I'd brought my camera, would have had a great picture with Maxine (a beautiful Galaxy Blue 05) in front of the "Shrine." But, forgot the camera.
