Geeeeeezzzzz, maybe I should get around to getting my spider recall done. I am from the old school if it aint broke don't fix it.

After inspecting all the 8 Spider locations - I believe I found the one that has been causing all the problem.

I am not sure what location this is.

And was hoping someone can help me pinpoint the location, I am thinking S4.

If it is the S4, will this be cover under the recall work done?

Yep that's the S4

If the connector and/or wires are burnt, Mr Yamaha may replace the wiring harness, if they have one.

May not have a bike for awhile.

You could cut & solder the wires together AND add a separate pigtail directly back to the battery negative.
