Has anyone tried to tap the drain hole in the final drive assembly, without disassembling/removing it from the bike? Removal/disassemble/tap/reassemble/reinstall will probably cost as much as an entire new unit (approx. $900). My plan is to tap the hole with the final drive on the bike, then run ALOT of drive fluid through it to flush out any shavings. And yes, I am a horse's ass for stripping the threads!
