Big business of selling illegal stunt videos? Who buys the videos when you can just get your fill on YouTube?!!?

Ridiculous behavior (and I'm not an old fogey).

What an :asshat2: :******:

The law is that some people are alive simply because it is illegal for me to kill their dumb ass!

If that idiot ever gets in a wreck with a car, you can bet you butt that this video will be shown at the trial where he will loose everything he has, and probably serve time.

Thankfully we don't have the problem here, but like most things over there, good and bad alike they find their way here sooner or later.

It takes a very special kind of stupid to do things like that on a public road. If it were a perfect world and common sense ruled, the cops would take his bike and license away on the evidence shown on that tape. Sadly the majority have to put up with the minority once again. I can't imagine how you police them, they are too quick to catch and fearless as well so no cop is going to attempt a chase. If you do catch one another will replace him. There has to be a major deterent devised. I can't think what though.

Wait a minute. Wasn't the cafe racer born in the UK? Were they not know for stripping the bike down to the bones and racing them from one cafe to another? I am sure they blew by a couple of cagers now and then.

I believe you when you say you don't have a problem but it is not a one way street.

I like the rest of you don't like seeing the stunts they pull on the streets. Keep it away from others. 3500 killed in a year. What about the tens of thousands of cagers that are killed?

I agree completely that the 'stars' of the news report are morons and are risking others, but the tone of the report seemed a little biased to me. Should all of the poor, vulnerable cagers be quaking in their urban assault vehicles at the threat of being killed by an idiot motorcyclist?

Easy to stop just a little work from the police requesting the mfg. companies to install a chip in the electronics that shut downs the engine. Have it installed in every bike you can have it speed rated. have it rated at a certain degree of wheel being pulled cut out engine. cops with a point and shoot lase to trigger chip to kill engine.

All kind of ways to catch those idiots just a little work and thinking involed along with coperations frm the mfgs.

And I like speed just as much as the other guy an I do enjoy the trick riding just do not enjoy idiots like that rider in the video.

weeekend rider :D

Time is not on their side. Given enough rope they will hang themselves and cleanse the gene pool. They need to be stopped, they give motorcyclists a bad rap. :assassin:

I just pray no innocent people pay the price for their.....stupidity. I kept it clean.

Only problem is, by the time that happens, there will be a whole lot of new laws to restrict ALL of us (so called Law Abiding Citizens).

Anyone that sees this **** or knows someone who does this ****, had better speak up and tell these idiots to grab a brain, or file a complaint against them with your LEO's.

It's up to us to get control of this ****, or the Gov't will do it for us.

Good point Steve, but the cafe racers were 60 years ago, when the roads were emptier. I don't remember the events but I can't imagine it being anywhere near as stupid as the tossers in that video. I have done my share of high speed riding on the roads, just as most motorcyclists will have done in their teens, never anything like that though.

Not to say that our cafe racers wouldnt have done those tricks had they had the machinery and know-how. As brainless as I was back then, I know I wouldn't have done it.

Boy, this could get political real quick, so I keep it generic. It's all the idiots who cause our freedoms to go away. 'Freedoms' like enjoy our sports, hobbies, etc. It seem that it is always the law abiding, decent folks who pay since laws, rules, limits , signs ,gizmos....... only seem to affect us--the ones who give a darn about playing by the rules whether it be civil laws, common sense, good practice or a sense of responsibility to others by setting a good example.

This is a hot button issue with me, so I'll stop before I cross the line. ;)

*** Pushing edge of political discussion, but maybe enough motorcycle topic ***

I wouldn't buy anything the police had control of. Can you say fascism?

I get your point, but putting EVERYONE into the same accountability bucket is not the answer.

These guys are beyond stupid, and if people buy the videos, then he's in it for the money. He could make money doing a stunt tour if he wanted to, so it's recognition, not stunting per se that he's after.

What's the buzz? It's a 4 year old piece. Find something else to get wadded about.
I'm with Bounce, it's too old to get worked up over. I posted it because I had never heard one of them try to justify their actions before and thought his astounding lack of logic was worth sharing.

If this guy weren't able to do this, he'd be filming drunk college girls to sell on video. He's just that kind of a stand-up guy.

Unfortunately it is a "Black Eye" for the whole riding community. Most people don't know one type from the rest.

One day I was in a parking lot getting my helmet on and a lady was walking by the bike as I touched the starter. As the bike idled the lady said while she walked past: "Oh, that's a quite one, I don't like the loud ones." "No, I don't like the loud ones either." I replied.

For the vast majority of the public, all two wheeled vehicles are in the same catagory. Or, in this case she had 2 catagories, loud and quite. This behavior on the streets hurts us all, but probably no more than loud pipes where public opinion is concerned.
