With all the racing and wrenching this year, I'm making some quality FJR-time and an exploratory street ride this Saturday.

The Plan:

Meet at the Mall of NH in Manchester, NH at 7am. (Macy's parking lot)

Helmets on at 7:30.

The route will be on roads I have yet to explore in Maine and near Berlin, NH.

The Pace:

The pace will vary from medium to very fast depending on a few variables such as group size and rider experience.

Ride your own ride. Rest assured, no one will be left behind.

If you're interested but unsure of where the meet-spot is at the mall, PM me. We can meet at my house and take some backroads up to the mall.

I'll be in Lincoln NH this weekend but will be taking a ride up to Berlin on Saturday. Maybe I'll see you guys on the road.

Bergs,

If you can tolerate a medium pace with my wife (somehow this just doesn't sound right!) in tow on her bike and me with my 6 year old as pillion with a slightly later leave time, say 0830, I'd be in! I'm on-call until 0630 saturday a.m. If this doesn't work for you, I understand. No pressure.

Sullivan, where are you, boy? :p

CJ,

I'm comitted to the times posted. There is a small group of riders meeting me at the mall and I'd rather not go changing times on them just in case some people don't get the information.

I can tolerate a medium pace with your wi......uhhh....I can't say it....LOL

Honestly, the pace in unimportant. Everyone must be safe...that's my top priority.

Weather, I'm sure, will play a big factor. I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up going solo on Saturday.

cota95- Blue FJR and blue mohawk....keep your eyes peeled and flag us down!

Damn, dude. If this was one week later, I'd ride up for it. With all this rain, I've got a long-delayed roofing job not yet complete and won't get away for the carpentry work to be done.

Anyhow, thanks for the post. Hope to join you on this kind of thing next time.

Did just that, Sull..... went for breakfast to Parker's Pancake Barn in Brookline, NH with Becky. There was another couple ahead of us on a pair of Beemers, and they had pulled in. We got to talking, Becky got to sit on the other girls F650 GS and she loved it (like I told her she would). The Ninja may be going bye-bye. Not sure I'm ready just yet to let her try the FJR......just too much bike for her. Besides, if she got comfortable on it, the ***** might steal mine, or worese - get her own! :assassin:
