Well ****.

I just found out today that our local 5 star Yamaha dealer announced they'll be closing their doors on April 15. They were never anything to right home about but they were handy for ordering parts 'n stuff.

Our local Honda dealer closed their doors about 5 years ago to go full HD. We still don't have one.

Anyway, I think I'll take a run over tomorrow and see if they've got a WR250R they'll part with for cash. Prediction - if they do, they will quote me full list on it. They were good that way.

Sucks man.. Our Honda/Yamaha dealership closed last month.. Thankfully the interweb has places for parts at a better rate.

They didn't stock **** at either place so ordering online wasn't any more time consuming.

Bungie, Trailside Sports are pretty good to deal with. I went to Sudbury Cycle it see if I could some filters for a cheaper price and the guy at the counter said " NOPE!" I ask him what were they going to do with filter and stuff? And he said "sell it at full price"

So good luck with the 250.

I wont miss them.

Good riddance!!! It must of had something to do with their customer service.

Ya, you got to experience that first hand didn'tcha. Believe me, that was no exception to the rule. The one time I think they ****** up and only charged me $120 to mount and balance a tire and do a carb synch. Way out of character for them. They did have at least one excellent mechanic though. Guy name Guy (French pronunciation = Gee) - but their was never any guarantee he'd work on your bike.

Went into to see if they had a WR and maybe pick up some filters before they padlocked the place. No WR. In fact not much of anything but snow machines and scooters. No filters either. Go figure.

Doesn't matter much to me regardless, RL Equipment is my dealer of choice. Trailside isn't bad though I have ever bought a single thing from them. Just stopped in a few times. I did buy my Kawi Meanstreak from Nicks Cat House though back in 07. Good guys to deal with too.
