Greetings all,

Just wondering what your favorite summer glove is. Needing a new pair and want to upgrade from the cheap(ish) mesh I have been buying.

I will be riding in temps that will hit 110 +

TIA,

Greg

Interested in this as well. Was looking at the Tourmaster Dri-Mesh, which are supposed to be waterproof mesh (I know, seems like an oxymoron), but I saw people complaining about the breathable liner not staying put when you remove your hands. For now, I'm wearing some el-cheapo mesh gloves and would like to get some better ones.

My hands always get hot and I had a problem finding the right summer glove. When I was at Motorcycle Outfitters in Tellico Plains, he suggested the Tour Master Deerskin leather gloves in the tan color. They are great. They look like they would be hot, but they are not. They do soak up water like nobody's business and that is my only complaint, but that's not what they are designed for.

Check with MotorcycleGear.com/closeouts. They have a reasonable selection and great descriptions.

As well as great service and prices.

No, I don't work for them. Just a loyal customer.

Tour Master Gel Cruiser gloves. Seems like good protection and has mesh in between fingers. I bought them on close out and have been very happy.

Current version is Tour Master Gel Cruiser 2 but looks pretty close.

I was looking at Aerostich Elkskin https://www.aerostich.com/competition-elkskin-roper-touchscreen-gloves.html and am hesitant on the heat factor. Good to know the deerskins are not that hot. What temps are you riding in with them?

Gregory: The max temp I have ridden is high 80's - low 90's, but not full direct sun. Usually in and out of shade. On some other gloves I could feel the sun on the back of my hands. These gloves are a little loose fitting, so I don't feel that direct sun. I also looked at the Aerostich gloves, but I'm always scared to buy a glove without trying it on. If you go with the Aerostich gloves, please post your opinion.

My favorite summer gloves now were made by Held but are now out of production. They are replaced by the "Airstream II," with a longer gauntlet. When my present gloves wear out, I'll probably replace them with the new model.

WBill, that is also a awesome gloves. And I also like the longer gauntlet. It takes a little more time to take off and on but it also lessens the chance of wrist rash.

Subscribed. Been keeping an eye out these last few weeks but know I need to choose something soon. These Helds caught my eye. Pricey but I do love my Held Phantoms and they're in great shape after a few years now. Still, not sure a two-in-one is the way to go.

Same here. I don't know what the model is since the name isn't on the label, but I've had them for a few years and they're great. The scoops on the knuckles really pull in the air. There was a time I'd balk at $150 gloves, but that's a bargain compared to what I've spent on crappy gloves that I wouldn't wear or that wore out prematurely. My go to glove for not too hot, not too cold weather is a pair of Held Steves. My hot weather glove is the mesh Helds.
