Thanks for the updates, Matt. I'm sorry you had to witness that, but also glad I had split off before then. I, too, have seen several guys get off in front of me, and it's not fun. Not that being the guy crashing is any better, but you know my point.

It was fun being behind you and Marc, since I know you guys ride well and make good decisions. Thanks for letting me tag along. Fun roads and nice people. Pretty hard to beat.

I'll probably be off the bike for a few weeks as we go to Tennessee to get my father-in-law, and then try to get him settled here. Be careful out there, guys, and have fun!

Scott

Glad you guys had a great time riding.

Sorry that someone crashed...and pretty hard, too. If they were dressed up like most of the riders around here (helmetless) that head would have pinged off the car and I'm sure a fatality would have occurred. That helmet just saved that man's life.

Crashing reports are never good to hear about...and they make me nervous as I post up rides for people to come on. I have crashed, others around me have crashed...but I just have to hope that people ride within their skill set. Group rides are so fun, and you meet the best people.

Prayers for complete and quick healing for the rider. Glad he survived.

Here are some pics for you guys for reference. I'll be shopping for some riding pants to pair with my Joe rocket leather jacket. Sometimes seeing the pics is good as it reminds myself to ride carefully, not push my self if I'm unsure of what the next bend is like.

The Ducati just clipped the front of the Buick and he slid behind it striking the side of the car
