Hey Now Don, HotRodZilla may be a Jackass, but by God AJ is OUR Jackass ese! JSNS, es Verdad!Saint Zilla. Why do I suddenly have the urge to regurge?
Okay Caitlyn I apologize for hurting your feelings, please don't cry. But seriously, that video of clocklaw's definitely caught this Senile Old Fart's attention! Why do you guys doubt me? At this point, it's getting hurtful.
Beats me stealth1, I'll find out real quick this Sunday. Put only 5 miles on the FLRT last week, all city streets in Mesa, AZ! I'll take it EASY-PEASY!Okay, the last trike I rode had pedals when I was 4 yrs old.So on a trike you do not / can not countersteer.
Is that correct?
Looks pretty stable in the twisties to me...
Thanks for your concern Honey, I always know you have my best welfare at heart. I was going to send you a private email, I have to go in for a 3rd surgery on my right shoulder on Tuesday June 30. Just can't get the Humerus bone squared away, maybe the third time will be the charm! https://www.hannigantrikes.com/products/bmw-k1600gtgtl-conversion/When I was considering the Spyder v. a traditional trike, that right there was one of the main reasons I went with the Spyder... traction control pretty much eliminates the possibility of tipping it over. A traditional trike, as seen below, has a much bigger chance of doing that. Don, I love you but please, please, please be careful... you've come a long way since the accident... I know it probably seems like forever and you miss riding a ton... but don't **** everything up and put yourself in a place where you may incur additional injury... 400 miles is a big ass day for a first outing... just be careful, m'kay?

https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php/topic/163821-shit-happens-if-it-wasnt-for-bad-luck/ Many thanks for your Concern and Compassion Cav47, it is sincerely appreciated! But, shit does happen! We are waiting to hear how the Trike trip went. As a man who has been injured, down, and now healed up, I especially am awaiting to hear about your mile-marker to healing. My hope is the trip went so well, that you have hoisted a few too many and are celebrating your accomplishments. Two steps forward and one step back has a silver lining--you are still ahead of where you started. The surgery coming up, while annoying for sure, isn't crap to what u have been through. Just a bump in the road to your recovery. And don't worry about those doctors who say "for a man your age....." Reply to them with a "set me a goal Doc, and I will show you what a man my age can do!!! It's not like I fell out of my wheel chair and got hurt, I was riding a dirt bike in the freaking desert where guys my age only dream about riding!!" Those goals are for average dudes, and we know u ain't average!! Now get that report out to us cause we are waiting! Celebrate your success tonight and get your butt back to making your goals!!
Actually Cav47, our El Toro Joe has already picked out my new ride for me! JSNS, Yippee!Man, I feel like a dope now!! Just a speed bump though. I would do what Tyler says and get a spyder later.
Naaaaaaa, that thing handles way better and has 10x the power of any Harley Trike. Sounds better too.I would like to cite her for not being an ATGATT type of rider. Does she not know what road rash will do to that exposed skin? Are those shoes armored to prevent de-gloving, I think not!!! Finally, she needs some eye protection is what Creg-ny-baa would be recommending. That ride is barely ABOVE a Harley Trike. I bet it doesn't have ABS or traction control.
