Well...I'm out...somehow managed to goof-up my left wrist yesterday...it's pretty sore. I should have just stayed inside all day...

Thanks to everyone who came out for the ride. As I've said after previous rides, no need to thank us. It takes the participants to make a successful event.

Our streak of 3 straight years with beautiful weather came to a halt, but, it wasn't a total washout. Other classifications of 'riders' would have put the bikes back on the trailers and the trailer queens would have made their way safely home. Not this gang. Looked like everyone soldiered on with a 'weather be damned!' attitude and took to the routes.

I know we had some that were eager to get out riding as soon as possible, so, I couldn't get an accurate count but I think we ended up with about 45 bikes.

I can't speak for Russell and the other organizers, but, for me, there is 1 primary objective for the ride - everyone makes it through safe and sound. I've spoken with at least 1 person from many of the groups that went out and I haven't heard of any incidents.

I know that most of the rides were scouted prior to Sunday, but, unfortunately, it sounds like some areas on the Lake Raystown route went on the cheap with some recent road repair and decided to go with chip-n-tar rather than resurface it the right way. Interestingly enough, in the Harrisburg Patriot News this morning, there is an article about this https://www.pennlive.com/news/patriotnews/i....xml&coll=1 Sorry to those affected.

Other than my primary objective listed earlier, as the title of the ride states, it's about Camaraderie. We hope that everyone got to see some old friends, make some new ones, and share stories about the passion that we all share.
