A few (2 maybe 3) of us are planning a ride for this weekend.

Sunday , 10:00am, Nashville, IN.

(intersection of 135 and 46)

Not super firm on time and place yet.

If someone says this works for them, we can call it solid.

If you do it again this upcoming weekend, post again, would ya?

How'd it go? Traffic in Nashville get kind of tight and slow? Boy, was it about perfect out there weatherwise or what!

I can't believe that I missed it, but finally rode 58 instead of 50 between 446 and 135. That's a sweet little stretch. Last weekend, I did 446 - 58 - 135, and it seems all the traffic was going the other way, at least until Nashville and north. Then it pretty much sucked.

You guys know any other roads in that area worth venturing onto?

Had a blast. Just 4 bikes from the FZ forum. The other FJRs bailed.

I was the only 2-up.

Traffic was amazingly light.

Only downtown Nashville was crowded, as expected.

45 West of Bean Blossom to Bloomington had the "Hilly 100" bicycle event.

So, we stayed clear of it.

Normally, that is a favorite road of mine.

We did 450 from Bedford to Shoals. That is a awesome road you should try!

I'll put 450 on the next outing. Thanks! I think I read about that one on one of the cycle road sites, but seem to keep missing it when going south.

Looks like it may be wet here all this upcoming weekend. Sunday MIGHT be dry, but leaves are coming down. Gotta be careful out there!

If you are heading south on 37, as you approach Bedford you will come to a stoplight. Left takes you on highway 50 East into Bedford. Right takes you toward 450. After you make the right, you will make a quick left on 450. Once you reach Shoals (you will actually spill out onto highway 50 between Shoals and Logoottee), If you have the time, make a left on 50 (East), go through Shoals and then grab 150 to French Lick. This is also one of the better stretches of asphalt in Southern Indiana, although I prefer to travel it in the opposite direction.

I will admit right off that my time table of activities usually prohibits me from planning too much or following through with plans, but shoot me an email sometime and maybe I can join you. Southern Indiana has been my motorcycle playground since I was 16.
