Went for the second fitting with the nice folks at SuperBrace in Huntington Beach. They had a little grinding to do, but now have an accurate fit for the '06 model. I should get a final version within 2 weeks - anodized black model. Looks like the '05 wont fit the '06, but the '06 will fit the '05 and they will now make an '06 version that will replace the model they've been using on the '05.
They should have sufficient time to manufacture a box load for WFO where they will be attending.
I'll let you know in a couple of weeks how they work out.
