Y'know, I've got one of those in my garage and I HAVE used it. If I'm just changing the tire the floor jack is quicker and easier for me (I have my own tire machine so the time requirement is less than for some others).
I did this and it works great. So I'm pulling the front wheel off tommorrow for the shop to spoon a new tire. There's alot of weight on the front of an FJ. What do you guys use to lift and support??Steve
I drilled a hole in the concrete floor, stuck in one of those little duhickies that expand and hold solid and when I want to pick up the front end I just screw in the eye bolt, put it on the center stand and put a tie down strap on the back,whal-la front end is up and will stay as long as the strap doesn't break. When your done unscrew the eye bolt and the floor is flat again and everything is out of the way. :yahoo:
