I am considering a tire patch kit with CO2 cartridges instead.
Don't do it!

Just put a 15 Amp fuse on your battery tender connector and an SAE connector on your pump. 15 Amps is enough even for the more powerful tire inflators.

You will be surprised at how many CO2 cartridges it takes to inflate the rear tire of an FJR, to rideable pressure.

What he said.

Put in a proper power connection and your inflator will work perfectly. 15 amp and your good.

Under mine are:

Fuses

Tire repair tools

Insurance documents

Cash

Leatherman

Great ideas everyone. For you boyscouts that carry the slime air compressor, won't that blow the fuse on the glove box or do you have a direct connect to the battery? I am considering a tire patch kit with CO2 cartridges instead.
I have the connector that came with my Battery Tender Jr. wired to the battery with the lead fed up between the handlebars. Same adapter connects to the Slime pump if needed. I recently bought an adapter that fits this connector that converts to a USB charging socket (or whatever you call it) so I can keep my i-phone plugged in on the road (in the Ram X-mount) with the Auto-Lock feature set to "Never" (shutting down).

On the first aid kit--and hope neither you or I ever need this--I have a QuikClot pack in mine, along with gauze and the other usual stuff. If you ever need it, nothing's like it. Google it.

Wow. Thanks to the OP for posing the question. I though I was prepared ! Great replies generates lots of good ideas. Thank you!

I'm wondering if I can run A Slime air compressor thru my Denali fuse block. Have to look at the ratings again. Any particular Slime model # in use? (Don't mean to hi jack the thread).

Good stuff

Sacramento Mike and I fish I the same hole. Tender wire directly to the battery - plug the Slime in there. It's been tested on a rear tire - works great.

Good thread - subscribed.

I definitely have to add the spare cash. Never thought of that until this thread. Hadn't thought of it even after reading about a friend having to bum $5 from someone to get home, because he forgot his wallet.

My inventory:

Air compressor

Fuseblock

Stock tool kit(with a couple additional tools)

Tire repair kit

Tank bag:

Spare bulbs and fuses

Super 33 electrical tape

Cable lock(for locking gear to the bike)

Flashlight

Audible tire pressure gauge

Sunglasses

Micro fiber cloth(s)

Small can of Plexis

bottle of water

maps

Spot

Garage door opener

Cell phone

IPod

Pen and pad

Change

Even with all that stuff there is still room for a lot more. That will vary depending on destination/duration of the trip.

I upgraded my wire for the battery tender to also carry the air compressor load...works well..ff
Ditto. And that reminds me. I've got a "lighter" adapter for the Battery Tender cable under there as well. I wonder what else I've forgotten. :)

9500ci radar module is under my rear seat... it has a few more plug-ins that this now however. Perfect location since you never have to get at it.

Factory tool kit with better tools, Eastern Beaver PC-8, spme cash, first aid kit, Stop & Go tire repair kt. Signal Dynamics Back-Off tail light modulator under passenger seat. Docs all in glove box along with Cruz digital tire gauge, 35mm film cannister full of coins, Haven't done anything about portable complressor yet but think about it. Probably should take care of that before this summer's planned trips to Glacier and Yellowstone parks (still in thinking/planning stage-depends on my back)

Owners manual

Gorilla Alarm

PC111 module

Blue Seas fuse terminal

Spare fuses

Spare headlight bulbs

I ditched the Yammy tool kit years ago, made up my own, and carry that plus a Slime pump in the top case.

Under the seat stock tool kit,Slime compressor and sticky string plugs, enough cash for the trip in case my card quits, paperwork. Carry the tire pressure gage, lens and visor cleaner, and microfiber towel in glovebox.

For those carrying paperwork, carry only photocopies in a zip-loc. If someone stole your bike, you don't want them to have the originals. Here, LEO's accept photocopied documents, however, I keep an additional copy on an inside jacket pocket in case I get separated from the bike and need a VIN number or sumthin'.

Under the seat,

Yam took kit.

Multi tool kit.

CO2 tyre repair kit.

First aid kit.

Two rachet straps.

Zip ties.

Spare bulbs & fuses.

Hi viz tabard.

Pannier hole covers.

Rag.

LED Torch.

Tyre depth gauge.

Tyre pressure gauge.

Electrical tape.

Kitchen sink (nah!)
