Thanks for all the great suggestions. I just want better handling than I have, and since I'm not a power rider (I commute back and forth from work, and my girlfriend and I go out for weekend trips and she rides her own bike) all I really need is a stock rig. My brother's 2013 handles incredibly well compared to mine, and that's well enough.

I recently bought and installed a wilburs 640 from here. The improvement is amazing on my Gen 1. well worth the money
