It is good to see Suzuki investing in motorcycles again. For a while it looked like they were going to fade away from the market. Now I'd like to see some fuel injection on the DRZ.

Too little too late, IMO. The FZ-09 should trounce this bike. An extra 100cc of smoother (3 cylinders vs. 4) engine, and 50 less pounds of heft on the FZ-09, plus ride by wire with 3 drive modes for the same money. Actually a hundo less compared to the "Z" model Suzook, which adds only some colored bling.

The GM of a large dealership here just dropped Suzuki. They felt Suzuki was circling the drain towards bankruptcy? They dumped a ton of money promoting their cars and just pulled out of the US market. Now I see they are going to run in Moto GP next year. Seems like a large investment if the company isn't doing well financially. But who knows?? They were the king in AMA racing for quite a while and their GSXR bikes were big sellers so I would think they would have a good market to reestablish themselves in.
