You guys remember that I got info that 'sounded' like that from Mike, and he got info from the service guy. Whatever was really wrong could be lost somewhere in this translation.

For all I know it coulda been that his axel nuts were torqued too tight. We'll get a more complete story later...

 
Ok...Mike is on his way out of Albuquerque on his FJR. He's gonna head towards Grants on I40, turn north at Thoreau and travel to Farmington. He's gonna take 64 towards ShipRock, and then take 666 north towards Cortez where he'll take 160 towards 41 and then head north towards Montezuma Creek and eventually HanksVille.

Since he didn't leave Albuquerque until just after one pm, I don't know how far he will make it into Utah before he calls it a night. He said he'll call if he has any bike problems, and prolly post up first chance he gets. Problem is, that may not be till he gets home.

So...Send good wishes towards our pal and lets hope his bike sticks with him and gets him home without drama.
