Greetings;

If there is a link on this I would appreciate it.

After putting the PC 5 in I found the scale reaches too far up (after making initial adjustments) up to finish this procedure. I backed the idle down to no result. Any suggestions?

btw

the o2 valve is disconnected

Ok this is what I need to know

I've attempted to do the "'Unauthorized' TB synch". After placing the vacuum scale tool ( motion pro syc tool) on, the scale readings on the tool

are too high on the scale ( rev the throttle and the fluid will suck out).

I put the restricter plugs in the individual lines that came with the tool. This made no difference.

So I have to get the readings on the low part of the scale. I tried using a cutoff valve from another tool, but I am not able to dampen the vacuum to an acceptable level. Possibly my new tool is defective.

Anybody have a solution?

thanks

I haven't used a Motion Pro, only Carbtune. Idle speed will affect your starting point. If I recall, 1000 rpm works. Gently turn in all your air screws and back them out one full turn. If #3 is not out far enough (using it as the baseline), it will affect the amount of adjustment you have for the rest.
