current Syncpro doesn't have Mercury but it did almost triple in price
I have seen the ads, please send me one for comparison and evaluation. I would expect the new Syncpro to perform just as well as the Toxic Tune. Send me a unit for evaluation, a detailed report with PICTURES will follow. ;) Heck, for the bucks it had better be better! I guess I *could* return the unit after evaluation. Shipping cost $99

This works OK for me.

I like simple and cheap, especially when basic physics is involved, just some ATF and clear tubing.

I made one, and it works great, a little more involved in that you can only do 1 at a time, #3 to the other three, one at a time.

If you do make one, constrict one or both hoses at some point with fairly small diameter tubing to dampen the vacuum pulses.

It's only ATF, I sucked some into a 750 Vulcan once with no ill effects other than smoke, since then I've added the constrictions and the hoses are longer.

It doesn't seem like a big risk to me.

JMHO

Should work OK. Three years ago I built a simple U-tube manometer similar to Zorlac's for syncing my FJR. I connected an empty 10-3/4 ounce tomato soup can in series with each hose. The soup can will capture the oil if one of the hoses becomes disconnected.

The soup can's 17 cubic inch volume is much larger than the 0.9 cubic inch oil volume.

I also spliced a short piece of rubber hose to the end of the vinyl hoses. The rubber hose makes a tighter, more positive connection to the TB fittings.

Seems to work fine.
