This tank has completed two IBR's. It has been modified to fit a Gen II bike. Givi plate and side bags included. I asked around and opinions vary on price. Asking $1,000. Any questions please ask, thanks for looking.

The tanks were designed to "slip on" in the front of the Gen I bikes. It was modified to fit my 2006, may fit Gen III as well.

What would it take to switch it back to Gen1 compatible?

It might actually work on a Gen I as is, I'm not sure. The only thing that was modified was that there was where it attached in the front with two grooves. Those grooves were shaved down. A piece of flat stock in a "U" is bolted in place of the rear luggage rack.
