Does anyone know what is the name of the clear 3m tape that you can use on your tank are plastics to keep them protected against scratches??

Actually it's 3M Paint Protection Film.

If I were protecting my tank, (which I have) I would use a " Mag Knight " tank protector.

Looks great and does a wonderful job, also have the cap protector piece also.

try it you will like it.....................

rhulcher hit the nail on the head....you can buy a kit on ebay for about $60.00 I had a buddy in detailing do mine with the 3m when I bought my fjr in 04....no problems to date.....I personally like the clear look....go with what works for you....good luck :good:
