TBS help

I've searched, but can't find this...

I'm in the middle of first TBS.

#3 was reading 20cm on my new Carbtune. I synced the others to #3. Then thought I would turn #3 closer to the recommended 25cm. I turned it to 24cm, then synced the others to #3. Idle dropped, so I turned the idle back up to about 1050. Now all of them read about 20cm again.

Is this normal? Did I do something wrong?

My first instinct is to return #3 back to where it was, sync the others, and call it good.

But I thought I would check with you guys first, before I put it back together.

25 is mainly a reference number. The main point is that they are all equal.

My motionpro doesn't even have numbers.

It wasn't right because the idle adjustment was turned about all the way up.

I returned #3 back to where it was, then synced.

It's purring nicely now.
