Techmount stem stand question

After removing the stem nut on my '06 I noticed that it had a 1/16" lip around the bottom of it that actually presses up against the washer when torqued, a lip that the Techmount stand does not have. Does this matter? Did they send me the wrong one?

Disregard....I called Techmount directly and they said although the stem stand does not have the previously mentioned lip, it is machined deep enough that it will contact the washer and will not bottom out when torqued.
