It looks like the same material used in the JR vests, just a lot less money. I would buy one except that I already have a couple of the JR vests.

I thought it looked about the same but I have not read the fine print on either. This one did get a good review in MCN.

I'll be getting one soon as I have a July trip to Colorado planned and don't want to roast them any more than the gas tank will anyway

Got one of these for my little trek thru Vegas-Death Valley etc last Sep. Found it to be invaluable worn with the JR mesh jacket. I fully expect to use it now during those previously "too hot to ride" July days in Ottawa.
