Runaway....Runaway.....learn from your mistakes & live to ride another day B) (What a poet excuse me while upchuck on myself)
Use to work for a funeral home and I was the lucky guy who use to get to go pick up bodies at the airport and such.

One of the guys I picked up that I will never forget was a biker who every bit of 400lbs if he was 50. He had been killed in a bar fight, stabbed by someone.

It made me realize it doesn't matter how big or bad you think you are it doesn't take much or a badass to kill you...

If you are too proud to run so be it but it is your family who will suffer in the end.

If it is your job to not run such as a cop or the millitary we depend on you not to run but to die for something as little as someone bumping you in a bar or not being able to walk away when a kid makes a mistake and no one was hurt, you aren't as big of a man as you think you are.

I'm going to try and not put a dog in this fight.

Donaldb, I'm glad you are safe and are able to tell your story.....plus you still haven't posted those pictures of your Nautilus install :D

There are a lot of good points in this post and trying to do nothing is the BEST advice to give and do. Sometimes, after seeing it over and over and over you snap; because it doesn't seem to get any better. Now days, with all of the things to distract a person while in their car, it has become more apparent that people don't pay attention to the situation ahead of them...talking on the cell phone, dancing while driving, puting on make-up, eating...you get the picture. We are all guilty of doing these things. This is the way of our society these days and getting worse.

If laws were more strict, then we might see a decrease in some of these irritating things that take place. I can guarantee you that if a speeding ticket cost $5,000 or you stayed in jail until you paid it off at $0.25 per hour...you might see less speeding. The same with running red lights....that has gotten WAY out of control also. (Ok, to some of you radicals out there, let's not get into a persons ability to pay...like the rich. Whatever position you're going to take here you know what I mean).

I could go on about this for days and so could all of you because this isn't a perfect world and never will be where some things are concerned.

While Donaldb has vented to us because he needed to so he could lower his blood pressure; we also need to realize he did it hear, with US. I wasn't in his shoes and don't know how I would have reacted at the time. I'm glad it turned out the way it did and I hope none of us have to go through this in the future...but we know we will. Just remember, the action you make in a split second may be the very thing that haunts you forever or NEVER.

I haven't forgotten! the install was done at my neighbors house and we used his camera. He has to post them to his smug mug site before I can get them moved over here. I'm cking every few days. I plan to e-mail him shortly and remind him. I'll get them posted here soon!

I know you will get the pictures posted as soon as you can...not that important. Just trying to lighten the mood a little...seemed like you could use it from all of the heat.

If your still in 'one piece' LET IT GO!

That being said I did things in my youth I wouldn't do again! ;)

One time on a narrow 2 lane street with parked cars, a car with two young girls was driving on my side of the road. I had a windjammer and i stopped. I kicked their car as it went by. It was that close. The stupid Biatches didn't even see me.

Hey, I rode to work yesterday--same route--same time--and peckerhead was no where to be found!---yea, I was on the look for him, particularly in my 6's. It was as enjoyable as I remembered it to be  Now I just have to correct that creeking noise in my rear shock that first reared its ugly head yesterday--prolly kuz its stopped up w/sh*t from Monday

As a famous movie character once said "live long & prosper" donaldb :D ...glad it's out of your system :agent:

One time when a guy cut me in front of me at an off ramp I pulled up next to him at the stop light as I was about to express my love for him I saw him reach for a hand gun, this was in a small town not the big city. Since then I am trying really hard to get to where the pinhead can see me and give them a big thumbs up - then I shake my head in disgust. Still the one finger wave does seem to sneak out once in a while. Be careful with your rage, we all screw up sooner or later.
