Sooze and I are home after 432 wonderous miles today and aboot 1200 for the trip.

We had a blast. The weather was PERFECT this year!

Thanks again to Wayne and the entire EOM staff for putting on a fantastic event!

Almost 590 home today. 9.5 hours actual riding time. Odd thing was the weather at home got into the upper 80s. Left the valley in the lower 50s around 7:15. I was cold going through Cherokee. A little traffic in Indy made it feel hot in slow traffic.

In addition to the EOM being a success, I learned about the awesome Jordan's Initiative story. That makes the weekend a winner on its own.

Back home safe, good ride today, great riding Thursday thru Saturday. Enjoyed putting faces to forum names. Great job by Wayne and his crew!

1546 miles for the trip. I managed to do the Rattler Hwy 209 this morning followed by a number of back roads and found myself at I-81, so slabbed to Marion and did the "Back of the Dragon" Hwy 16 again the other direction to Tazwell. Beautiful clear weather compared to when we did it on Friday. Slabbed home by 7:00 PM at FJR nominal speeds.

My apologies to the FJR rider I blew past on the Rattler...It was okay for a few miles, but some rides were not meant to ride behind traffic, and it was just stacking up.

Thanks everybody, and a special call-out to Cav47 (Josh), Creg-Ny-Baa (Don) and Full House (John) for being great ride partners and new found friends this weekend. Unforgettable and a great way to spend tires.

Back home at 7:30pm, 460 miles, 1,680 miles for the full weekend.

Saw some familiar characters and met some new ones. Great riding and great fun!

left at 7am got home at 315pm 500 miles. I took 2 30 min breaks but maintained a good moving avg. Got home in time to go to my daughters choir concert at 4 pm

Home safe and sound. Got an early start and had my 650 miles done by 3:00. Thanks to the crew for a great program and to Jim, Iris, Art and Oface for letting me tag along. Couldn't have asked for 2 better days of riding!

My wife and are made it home safely.

Thanks to all who planned and attended this years EOM.

Great times indeed !!!

… and now I know how you all wear out your tires so fast

Nice progress Doug. Making the most of that time-change. And my recall of Oklahoma on a Sunday in 2013 is similar. We stopped for Mexican food and beer was a no-go...but they still had a pink elephant with sunglasses. Yep, really!

What made you think Oklahoma was a place you could order "good" Mexican food?

Just made it back to Atlanta with my neighbors that came on the GXSR and the Kawi 1400. We had a detour to Deals Gap on the way home.
