The final day started with me thinking I was going to slab 40 back home in about 6 hours; Bob convinced me to do otherwise. We ended up spending the day hitting some great twisties, including The Snake. Ran across VA most of the way home and dropped down outside of Raleigh. Pulled up to my garage at 11pm....awesome day!

Thanks to Wayne and the entire group of volunteers for EOM this year! We couldn't have asked for better weather either, that's for sure.

Meg and I got home around 12:30 today. We spent most of Sunday on the BRP then had lunch at the Blowing Rock Grill before heading west. We spent the night in Beckley and had some great mexican food (I see a trend here).

Thanks to Wayne and crew for putting this together.

Thanks to Phil for making a trip to Buffalo Trace and bringing me a bottle a Bourbon Creame.

4187.0 miles on the trip odo. Rolled in today at 1214. Did 1100 miles yesterday and thought about riding the 1491 miles straight through last night, but my wife said I sounded tired when I called her at 9pm. So I grabbed a room and got some needed sleep.

That was a totally fun trip!!

1058 to Elk City, OK, last night JUST in time for a great Italian dinner at a little place in our hotels parking lot. Got home a while ago to 54 degrees and ice falling from the sky!

4,269.3 miles for the total trip.

Thanks EVERYONE for an AWESOME trip! Hannah and I had a blast! Any of you come this way, hit us up! ESPECIALLY Wheaton, I've got a "special" parking spot for your FJR! Those of you not home yet, stay safe!

Maggie valley was the best riding of my life. Thanks to Wayne and everyone evolved for their efforts. Got home to iowa about 3:00pm Monday, after lay over in ST. Louis Mo. 2298 mile trip. Good to be home. Special thanks to Intech for signing my end of ride paper for my first saddle sore 1000. Only wish I would have made a better effort to meet every single rider there. I realize now there were some I missed. Already looking forward to the next ralley and when I can purchase a FYB licence plate frame.

Tom and I got in this evening after staying over last night in Elkins, WV. I had a great rally, as always. Thanks to the organizers and to everyone who attended.

Elk City, OK and an Italian Restaurant eh? I think I ate at the same place (Roma's) on my way home from CO last year, lol. I seem to recall the cook being eastern European. I was shacking up at the Super 8 across the street for the night.

Didn't bother with the internet last night. We booked 4242.7 miles for the trip. Got home at 1615 yesterday after riding some great roads on Sunday and a few yesterday in between a couple slabs with rain. Great trip!

We're home (ZOOOMM AGAIN & I)

We had a great time seeing old friends and making some new ones.

Thanks to all that helped put this all together!

The total trip miles = 3725. Our rear PR 2s are completely toasted (cords are seriously showing) with a total of 4800. We hit the wear bars way before that - like around 4k.

Damn, you two burned through those!

I waved to Patch today as I rode through Eagle's Nest, New Mexico. Made it to Farmington today and hoping to squeeze in a Lake Powell Dam tour on the way to Cedar City tomorrow before a push home Thursday eve.

Sweet...I knew you'd make Farmington.I was surprised you were so close today when you called. Those are some pretty roads. Glad you got there safe. If I coulda, I woulda jumped on the bike and met you.
