I had an even fifty quid on Tose doing the double, he lost the second race by 7/1000's of a second!!!

Bayliss to his credit was riding 3 weeks after a big crash where he damaged his wedding tackle and was still having pain killing injections. He also lost a little finger in the same crash.

Wow, that was sweet...!

Just for my edification, what's 'Wedding Tackle' :)

I could have sworn I responded to this thread already! What a great set of races, especially the second race. Too bad Haga dropped out of the second.

Feejer,

Thanks for the link. Great race! About two years ago they screwed with the "Speed" channel here and I've been in withdrawals since.

Hi AZ,

we are spoiled here. Because the MGP & WSBK are based around Europe we have excellent coverage of both championships including all the practice live. To add to that we get excellent coverage of the British superbikes which we are told by our press is second in the world to the WSBK. Whether this is true I don't know, but we do get a lot of foriegners coming to use it as a stepping stone. It was won last year by Japanese Riuichi Kiyonari and the year before by Gregorio Lavilla from Spain. There are obviously good Brits in the mix, it's all exciting stuff.
