Hey gang,

Instead of attending EOM this year, I took the FJR out West to see some places I have always wanted to experience. I have put together the first of a multi part series of vids about

the trip. It's not a ride video, more of a travelogue. Take a look if you get a chance.

Thanks,

Thanks Alfred, I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video.

As far as weight in the top box, I can't give you an exact amount. My laptop goes in there, cause it won't fit in the side cases, but other than that I try to keep it to lighter stuff, clothes and maybe my video camera for easy access.

Chris

Chris, your stuff is still the best. I am amazed on how stable your picture is (Road Of Wonders 2010 Trailer), vibration is so difficult to deal with.

New camera? That did not look like the VIO POV you used before.

Great quality. Thanks for sharing. And wow, 3800 miles - must've been quite a trip.

Thanks for all the comments, I really appreciate the feedback.

I had the POV on the trip, and shot some cool video with it, but the quality is **** compared to the HD Cams you can get for under $200 nowadays.

Off the bike I am using a Sony HD camcorder which shoots amazing video, and I still haven't learned all the tricks to it.

I just finished editing Part Two (for the second time, the youtube copyright cops nailed the first version) so here it is for your viewing pleasure. Just under 4 minutes, but we

get to the Badlands in this episode.

Part three is finished and up on youtube. This time we get to Needles Hwy, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and finally Devils Tower. Thanks to everyone who has watched and commented, I really appreciate the feedback. Already planning next years trip, and hopefully it will be farther and longer than this one.
