..off at CyclePort in San Marcos on Monday morning October 22nd to have the "Carver mod" performed on the windflaps and velcro. So we'll be kicking around that area for the day and picking up the pants in the late afternoon before heading back to Cathedral City.

Any of the locals want to meet some real live Canuckistanian FJR riders? Do lunch?

Only a Canadian can drop their pants and it still be worksafe. :D
+1, Gunny!

I've wondered if they could put softer material in the inner thigh area so as to to not tear up the seats when sliding the leg across..

That's my next quest.

I've torn up to leather seats, working on the 3rd now, and I'm not the only one.

That's a work day for us locals. Otherwise, I would.

I hope there is no language barrier. Mercun Californistan to Canukistan.
Fixed it, dood.
That work stuff is highly overrated Neil, and really gets in the way of a lot of the fun stuff! ;)
+1, Gunny; very well spoken Dave, I have no idea why some of these guys on our FJR Forum are all hung up on this work thingie because it does get in the way of biking!

Just trying to be extremely helpful here Brother Don but perhaps you could start wearing your pantyhose on the outside of your riding pants, so you don't tear up the seat!

This retirement thing is getting to me. I'm busier than ever, don't know how I had time to go to work..... 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in every week and my weekends are busy!

Dave, some friendly advice, if you do find the time to go somewhere, and manage to get to an Owosso Tech Day, don't be dropping your pants......

As Bachman-Turner Overdrive sang:

People see you having fun

Just a-lying in the sun

Tell them that you like it this way

It's the work that we avoid

And we're all self-employed

We love to work at nothing all day

And we be

Taking care of business (every day)

Taking care of business (every way)

We be been taking care of business (it's all mine)

Taking care of business and working overtime

If you ever get annoyed

Look at me I'm self-employed

I love to work at nothing all day

And I'll be

Taking care of business (every day)

Taking care of business (every way)

I've been taking care of business (it's all mine)

Taking care of business and working overtime
