Sell the XX, part out the 04 and find a nice 06. Something with alot of miles on it should fetch a low price, when we know they run forever with proper care.

I'm with willy on this -- that 04 don't like you man! :)

I think you ought to name the FJR something like "Christine" as it seems to have it's own personality, like the car in the movie!

Keith, My vote is kill that FJR and part it out and buy a different one. This statement is based purely on Karma! Sum ***** is trying to kill ya man!
JW
I'm with Jason on this one too.

Fix it, sell it!

Blackbird is already up for sale!

Come on, how many people have a motorcycle that they've technically totalled 3 times!!??

I think the cheapest option is rebuild! After that i will have it exercised, or maybe a voodoo chant or something to clear it of evil spirits!

I say part ways with it.

Yur from KY, ask any cowboy what he'd do with a horse that keeps buckin' him off all the time....

:bye:

The FJR truly is built like a tank!
Blackbird goes up for sale. If I sell that, I am actually thinking about rebuilding the FJR, or parting it out, and taking money from that and blackbird to buy another bike.
Am I the only guy here with Ins on my bike? I have read so many post about dumps, tips, and slides where you all just can't wait to pour Cash into your bikes to get them almost as good as they were. If we were talking about older classics I could see it but grab your Farkles and for the love of God let the ins buy you a new one.

Actually, I do have insurance. Keith, on the other hand, is probably uninsurable by now.

Never had a single claim!!!

I have one ticket on my record, and it's a reckless driving. That causes rates to be insane. It was like 250 a month with a 1000 dollar deductible.

Record clears in November of this year.

Crap, I shure hope not! I've been doing everything I can to slow down, hard part is that I'm riding a blackbird.

The feej will be rebuilt, it is already well on it's way. I MAY actually insure it this time. But the blackbird has a salvage title, and it's a 1999, it's almost not even worth it.

My own damn fault, with a combo of bad luck and timing. Passed an officer at 120 on a straight, it was a backroad with no turn outs. Regardless, he wasn't happy...

I am surprised he did not put you on the ground with the gun to your head. Also kind of surprised you got to keep your license.
