Hmmmm... Think I'll join you guys if you don't mind. Maker's Mark on ice if you have it.

If not you need to find some ice.

That reminds me call the barkeep at Marriotts verify they serve MM.

If I've been a good little FJR driver I like to reward myself with something from Patron they call "XO Cafe." It's out of this world. After that's down and the engine's up to operating temperature I'm on to the Bombay as well (I've never been good enough for the Sapphire).

Or, in the spirit of this thread:

Patron XO Café

In summertime it is bliss

Mind your bank account

(I'd like to apologize now for the drunken posts I'll be making later this evening.)

Mmmmm..... I had XO Cafe at a 'spirits tasting" . IIRC, I rather liked it.

Perhaps I should broaden my horizons for the August 20th Happy Hour

ps - no need to apologize for drunken posting here. No one else does

A shot of decent bourbon, ice cubes, your choice of cola, and a splash of tripe sec for us twisted types......a couple more of these and I won't be able to post!

Just goes to show you how even as adults there's peer-pressure to drink. We can't even escape it by visiting our favorite virtual hangout spot.

That said,

Make mine a Bushmills (double please) on three rocks, chased with a Deschutes Mirror Pond Pale Ale. :drinks:

Since this is just a regular Friday night at home my tipple will be some decaf coffee with non fat milk. Tomorrow night is a different story. The 2nd Annual San Diego FJR Forum campout will be reason enough for something a little stronger.

Here's to good times, with good friends! :drinks:
