Our Friend is using a different name on another forum and he hates me over there too.
I always find it a bit sketchy when someone uses a completely different "alias" on a similar forum. Almost like they have something to hide.

And he is threatening to come to an FJR event and beat me up. That would be just my luck, to get my *** whipped by a 70 year old ****** bag.
Don't dismiss 70 year old ****** bags. Some of them have nothing to lose and don't mind prison time. DAMHIK:IJK
Beware Old Man Strength. Just sayin'.

Well, he probably thinks your feminine attributes make you an easy target. You should probably grow a beard and go a week or two without polishing your bike. That would help man you up!

Hahaha. lol. You are just a laugh a minute.

Actually, that's pretty funny! It just so happens that I am on vacation right now and I have a full beard going. I will have to shave it off tomorrow night but for now I am looking very manly. In a fat, gray, unkempt sort of way.

I never dismiss Old Man Strength. Pop is now almost 74 and he still makes things move when he grabs them. Not like he used to of course but he is still quick and has better footwork and timing than I do.

I just think that if I have to get into a scuffle with anyone at an FJR event that will be a personal failure for me. Not that some of you are not worth it mind you...

He likes being the center of attention. One of his threads has 57 posts, or there abouts, and he made over 25 of them. Anything that allows him to pontificate is to his liking, so ignoring him is the best solution.

'Dust Ups' at an FJR event are GREAT comic relief! I still remember two FJR riders going heel to toe on a ride to decide if a dark side tire could really keep up... wonderful drama!

More along the lines of beware of old man fatalism when they know they have inoperable cancer (but no one else does), a handgun, and an inferiority complex; mixed with the inability to separate the Internet from meat space.

Post number two in this thread.

Too bad the advice wasn't taken.

I don't know what you are 'taking' or 'are on' but in my personal opinion you should stop immediately. :uhoh:
But it's threads like this that offer some comic relief over the more straightforward technical ones or the off topic ones that are of intrest. It's a shame when someone gets so offended that they give the group the finger and run off in a huff. I've been guilty on another forum of supposedly chasing away a member by pointing out their stupidity. Oops.

Just seems there are some folks that can't differentiate between having someone tell them what they said was idiotic and that they themselves are idiotic. As much stuff that can pour out of a persons head I always figure there is always the chance anyone can inadvertently stick their foot in their mouth and not notice it immediately, or even recognize they have done so. Some also so can be so stubborn they can't admit they did so even after having numerous people pointing it out.

With that mindset it's understandable why they feel picked on or ridiculed, thus becoming angry and vindictive, usually singling out one commenter they believe the worst.

From my experience on various forums, it's just something that happens and from the broad view, there doesn't seem to be anything that can prevent this from occasionally occurring.

Sadly, the poor fellow seems to be somewhat "Off". His last rantings over there made even less sense than what he did here. I have no idea what he was trying to say. He was adamant that once I posted in a thread that no one else would post anything...yet there were many, many posts after mine.

He ranted about things being this way his entire life, yet he blamed me in the next sentence.

He finished by saying he was going to start his own forum. I forget the exact name but it was close to "fjrasylum.com". I cannot go back to find it because the Admins actually deleted the entire thread, 6 or 7 pages of it. Which was a Mercy Killing honestly.

I truly hope the poor guy finds some help somewhere. Mental illness used to be a joke to me but I have learned better in recent years.

dot org. I would expect it to be like TWO facebook: agree or get kicked out. Thread was moved but not deleted. He's still a member there, maybe he'll post something useful. Or not. I happen to know one of the mods over there, he's been pretty patient over the yrs with malcontents. Great guy, too and a genuine sweetheart!

"Great guy...genuine sweetheart"
That must not be the same moderator I was thinking of. The one I know is pretty grouchy!

Moved you say? Oh boy, maybe the fun won't end yet!
He's a lot nicer to be around now that he has a new hip and is free of his 6-8 opioid per day pain level.

Great guy, too and a genuine sweetheart!.... maybe. Heavy drinker..... evidently.
Maybe that one guy who called him a drunk **** was right.......

I've been catching up on the forum generally, and this thread caught my eye because I always like reading about HDs on the FJR forum; I just know it'll be good! And, entertaining it was.

I am so glad to see that it has devolved into Bustanut's mental stability. We can all get much more traction on that vs HDs! I have met many of the forum members over the yrs but not Bust; need to remedy that on one of my trips to Michigan (SE Jackson County).

And, PS, I've got HDs and Jap bikes, and they all seem to live together in the garage and back porch w/no problems. I've ridden the FJR to HD events, and my HD to FJR get togethers. Somehow I'm still alive.

just got back from Hardley World...{Americade]... after about 20 minutes in the herd of conforming non-conformists I felt a headache coming on from the 60 horse [hog ?] two bangers with shotgun pipes , I headed over proud Vt. where it was nice and quiet but watch out for the brown lane...
