Of all the bikes you have owned in the past, which one would you want back if you could have it tomorrow??

Only one!

I would have to say my 1982 GS750 Suzuki.

I bought it new as a leftover in 1984 for $2,000!!

Was my first NEW bike and I have a soft spot for a good "standard"

My 1989 TDR 250.Two stroke engine but was a great bike,Trusty, with great acceleration, excellent grip in turns and awesome brakes!

Great in the asphalt and very good in the gravel roads!

I've only had an issue when I couldn't afford it, therefore couldn't keep multiple bikes..... none that had to go have to come back, there's always too many bikes I could choose from when I want extra bikes.

I pretty much never look back. Loved my bikes in my past but that's mostly where they stay. I was nostalgic for my first bike, till a friend of mine got one. He thought it sounded funny and asked me to take it for a spin since I had owned one and see what I thought. I didn't tell him but what I thought was that it was a piece of junk. Compared to my newer bikes it was an underpowered clunky beast with crappy handling and took all day to come to a stop. I stopped being nostalgic for it.

The only exception was my DRZ400SM. Couldn't have multiple bikes at the time so I gave it up for the FZ1 which was much better for my commute. I still wouldn't trade my FJR for one, but I do look forward to parking another SM in my garage next to it one day. Might even be the DRZ since they are cheap and bulletproof. Nothing says stupid fun quite like a supermoto.

I kind of wish I held on to my '97 Bandit 1200. I didn't need to sell it and only got 2,500 for it, but I don't like under-used stuff sitting around. I owned it during my mid-30 to mid-40, little kids, working too much, house building years and only put 17,000 miles on in 12 years. I should have kept it as it was the ultimate hooligan bike. Naked, torque monster, short wheel based wheelie machine that required very little maintenance. Should have kept it and turned it into a fullblown street fighter.

My less than year old bike, stolen one month after moving to OK City, three days before I turned 21...

My 1979 red XS 1100 Special.

I got an 850 Triple with the insurance money as I was $1000 short to repurchasing another Eleven. That 850 was a dog compared to the Eleven.

I pined for that bike for a long time. Criminal *******s!!!!

I missed that bike for years until I re-entered the bike world with my new 2004 FJR 1300.

Smile is back on the face.

Purely for sentimental reasons, my 1984 Nighthawk 700S; it was my first bike. I have only owned two, the Nighthawk and my FJR, about 20 years apart.

2001 VFR800, last year of the gear driven cams. The sales person pissed me off and I didn't buy it...I wish I had. I may still pick one up if I find myself with a bigger garage one of these days.
