ouch
Obviously it's your choice, but have you ever owned a white or black vehicle? They look great but are a pain to keep clean. Personally I love the desert metallic - still a little bitter we couldn't get it in the states.
Yep. Metallic Dirt would be my choice. My XS1100 is metallic black and gorgeous when its clean and shiny and the chrome is glistening. BUT it shows every speck of dust. Still, a black or pewter FJR in the US of A....pretty cool!Obviously it's your choice, but have you ever owned a white or black vehicle? They look great but are a pain to keep clean. Keith--do what YOU want. The rest of us could paint our bikes whenever we wanted.
In the UK (and Europe?) the "AS" is the electric gear-change version, the same as the "AE" in the USA. Why they are named differently I have no idea. What is the "AS" designation?
Now that was a bike!! I was too young (16) and small (90 lbs) when CBX production ended in 82, but is the reason why i have always been attracted to "super sport" tour bikesI loved the pearl white paint with light and dark blue and black striping on my '82 CBX:
