Out here where it doesn't rain for many, many months in a row, the first rains are always very dangerous with copious amounts of oil floating up from the road. I thought it would be different there. I assume it wasn't freezing rain? What was the temperature that day? When I lived in Nebraska, rain would fall, make the winshield wet like normal rain, but freeze the instant it touched the road.

Scab, glad you are doing well enough to be back online. Heard about your get off thru the net and was worried. You hang in there and get well. Just relax and we'll find you the right color FJR when you're ready, although blue is my favorite.
