Um................that dude is slow........and fast to start his way to the end of the line.

I've had the DVD since it came out. A great movie, one I've watched a few times. The guy was an inspiration.

I first acquired the movie before it came out on cinema. Loved it. Took the liberty of "forcing" the people around me to watch it - Dad watched it, our HD owning neighbours loved it, Grandpa loved it (he rode an OLD Harley where the timing was advanced manually on the left twist grip)...

Have to admit, Anthony Hopkins did one amazing job playing Burt... whipped out a few lines that reminded me of things my Grandpa used to say. "What's your name again? Aah, I knew a _____, you must be related - he was an a$$hole too!" or something to that extent.

You can guarantee I will be buying at least 2 copies of this - one for myself, and one for my Dad.

Excellent movie. The best part it's not all Hollywood' out with crap and make believe junk. If you watch the special features at the end of the DVD all that stuff was true.

Anthony Hopkins did a an excellent job here, yet in a recent write up in some magazine they listed some of his movies, and of course this one was left out.

I highly recommend it for all, not just motorcycle enthusiasts.

I have a friend that raced with Burt Monroe in the 60s and he said the movie was suprisingly acurate.

I love to watch him forge his own pistons. Anthony Hopkins definitely did one awesome acting job with the movie.

Maybe someday I can be enough of an inspiration to some kid to make him pee on a tree in my memory.

:)

Great movie, for all the family. I've seen it several times, and enjoyed every one. There's plenty to appeal to non-motorcycle enthusiasts in the movie.
