My old grammah was a wise old bird, she once gave me two pieces of advice

"Steve, you want to marry a woman with small hands" so I asked why.. "because it'll make your John Thomas look bigger" which really gave me the shivers because it meant Grammah saw me bare assed at some point.

She then want on to say "Now this bit of advice I'm about to tell you is the most important advice you'll ever receive.. " and she gave me a look to make sure I was paying attention.. "Always marry for money. You can find love on any street corner".

Loved the joke, but after 47 years of marriage, I can't imagine being single. My only advice is to marry your best friend of the opposite ***.

Money can't buy love, but it can rent some first class affection!

Wise grammy!

However, EVERYone knows money can't buy love. But, as a friend just pointed out, it makes staying together less stressful.

Good point, I guess :D

Or as my brother once told me:

"You can marry more money in 5 minutes than you can make in a lifetime."

She just finished reading the lab reports from my physical. "I notice you didn't mention his note here about getting more aerobic exercise."
So, she CARES about you!! sheesh :D
It's just that she doesn't want to start a new project this late in life.

;)

... money can't buy love. But, as a friend just pointed out, it makes staying together less stressful more likely.
From the perspective of the one most likely to lose it...
