A great man and IBA member, George Zelenz just passed after a battle with an aggressive cancer.

In this FJRForum post, we learn that he was part of a group to do the first in-city LA SS1K (LA1K).

I did the LA 1K with George
. After moving away from LA I never thought I would go back and ride around for the fun of it. I had a great time.

George added a lot of color to a sometimes drab world. He was a character.
He fell on some hard times during the Great Recession. In stead of some fancy plaque or trophy, I got this GZ original for my finish in the 2010 Spank 2-day rally. It's my souvenir from George. R.I.P.
