I started seeing them yesterday, the "bikers" are here. I have been watching them for years and wondering how many have bought a 1st bike within a month of rally time. Just this afternoon I saw a woman on a cruiser looking very shaky attempting to stop at a light, then skimming her feet along the ground for a good 30' before she got enough speed to stabilize a little. The guy on the bike next to her looked like he had more control of his bike and was motioning for her to change lanes as traffic started rolling all while he was holding up the traffic behind him so she could move over. I saw a group of 6 come to a complete stop on a highway on ramp, I am guessing this was because the traffic was to heavy for them to all squeeze in without being seperated. It amazes me that with the amount of inexperienced riders at these rally's there are not more fatalities than what actually happens.
I just wonder how long it will be before some cities run rallies out of town just because of the dangerous conditions that go along with the mass number of riders with questionable experience.
