Thinking about Buying an FJR

I dont currently have a Motorcycle but I was thinking about buying an FJR

How does it compare to a Rhino

Also, I want to be able to pull a boat with it.. Has anyone ever done that

How come it does not have a 6th gear.. What RPM will it run at 70mph in 2nd?

What kind of mileage can I get going downhill in a tailwind?

No, you should be able to deepwater start the FJR behind a boat. The tupperware gets it up on plane very quickly.

It does actually....but we keep it secret.. The few "in-the-know" actually have French versions with a 6 speed and 190 horsepower with 85 octane, rides cool, sidestand works perfectly, and gets 50 mpg. Everybody else we have convinced the French version is detuned. Shhhhhhhh.

No, you should be able to deepwater start the FJR behind a boat. The tupperware gets it up on plane very quickly.

Can I use a 19" 4 blade with a 21" throw.. I have one left over from my BMW

I'm not sure a FeeJ is for you. You seem like some newb type that couldn't balance very well, probably dump it or something. Or have problems with the center stand. You know, they also have GenI and GenII, don't ask about what the differences are. You'll never figure out what type of oil to use or farkles to buy. Just forget it

Go look for Beemer or Connie... maybe even a cage.

Doesn't compare well with a Rhino - closer to a yak. In heat. With ticks and fleas.

Lookit a Bimmer RT bike. Great for hauling all yer stuff to the campsite, plus you can use the drive shaft to start yer campfire once you've arrived.

It depends on if you are sliding on your left side or right side. Or if you are on a moving conveyor belt.

Robin, Just heard! Holy smokes... glad you two are OK. Pics are very telling... and sad.

Build-up of slimy goo on the road seems to me to be a reason for the State to reimburse you... like a manhole cover missing, or a guardrail sticking out...

All very good questions. I was considering using my FJR for a farm tool too. It's just too damn nice to ruin with grass stains and mud splatter on the fenders. I bet if you really tried it could pull stumps.
