Please don't wine taste and ride.

I stopped in at Madrona Vineyards and got a couple of bottles of the best Zin in the world. On the way out some dick-smoker pulled up on an '89 FJ1200 and blocked my egress. When I asked him to move he responded in a slurred tongue, "Dude, iss phat da '05 FFJJRR?”

What a *******. He was out wine tasting, with his skinny meth-ugly girlfriend/wife/hag on the pillion and they were both blasted.

This kind of behavior ruins our reputation as citizens who ride responsibly.

So I take she was hot then? Lit up and hot? The best looking pillion's are always of the meth ravaged variety. :p

If you want to see meth ravaged type people, spend some time around the central valley and sierra foothills. After dark they come out of the woodwork. My local Sheriff calls them 'feral humans'.

Oh pray tell what a sight to see and it is not for me. Where is the local leo when you need them. ( having a dough-nut?)

This is one time ,you as a rider, who knows not to drink and drive to use good judgement and keep him off that bike . Look whose lives he was putting in danger,

his, his girl friend, yours, and any other person who happens to be in his way on that bike. He is no different than a drunken cager behind the wheel of a vehicle going down the road. I know this is easier said than done, I would have called the cops, to get him off the road and not endanger anyone.

We as bike riders have other responsibilities such as making sure people like that drunk bike rider stay off the road. This way he will be able to live for another day and talk about.

there are those that do and those that want to I am the first weekend rider

OK, I'm stupid...WTF is a LEO and why are they called LEO's?

I grew up north of lala land in santa clarita with those idiots all around and know the police are useless bags of $hit.

I'm not gonna start some $hit with a drunk, I'm just a skinny tall guy who can tell no one what to do. Fu@k him and his meth/whore - I hope they crash into the vineyards. :dribble:

I can't be too critical of wine tasting on the bike since we went to Holly's Hill and Mount Aukum a few weeks ago and to Nevada City Winery on Saturday. I do try to stay well below the legal limit though. I ask for small pours and don't try to rush the tasting.

did anyone say NIGHT TRAIN , i remember 89 cents a pint at one time . Or the old balintine XXX green ale wow !!! ... go radman

I was gifted a couple of bottles of Madrona Zin a few years back by a GF with good taste in wine and the money to suport my, uh uh, I mean her tastes. And, I concur that Madrona is awesome. Is there a varietals section to continue this thread? Where 's their tasting room?

Hey Stef ... it sure ain't Brunello di Montellcino or Masi Amerone! :p

Looks like I may have a buyer for Mr. Max... keep your fingers crossed for me so that I can get out of the doghouse with SJW!

I call the cops on drunks. I rarely know if they handle it, or not.

I didn't know Latcham wines were available at the Madrona Vineyard ;-)

In case anyone forgot, you're NOT supposed to swallow at a wine tasting.

That's why they call it a "tasting", not a "drinking". :assasin:

That's what the spit-buckets are for...in case you get a mouth full of ****** wine.

My SO and I prefer the elegant bouquet, full-bodied flavors of that only Charles Shaw can produce. Some may know his line as "Two Buck Chuck". They are the best wines for the buck...er two bucks. :D
