IMO very nice, and it’s what some would consider a low-miler for its age—a little over 3K miles IIRC.

Now this one, oh so sweet, IMO is very special. The sight of this beauty makes my pulse quicken.

According a source identified on that paper hanging from the handle bar “it’s one of only five brand new” ones “known to exist”. The owner said he declined Mr. Leno’s offer.

A few FJR pix.

TerryG. heading to Sparta.

Rock Island.

Probably a suitable name for the area.

Do “pigeons” like rocks? Maybe, but it sure looks like these "birdies" do!

There’s that backwards guy again. Maybe he’s excited by the snow in “them thar hills” of TN.

I had a 1975 H1, fun stuff.
Know what ya mean.

I had the first 750 in the Upper Obio Valley. Spent a lot of time on the rear wheel.
Far out. And, know what you mean too.
I didn’t have the privilege of owning a1972 H2, but I put some good miles on my friends 72. It was nicely appointed with carbs, filters, and chambers. At the time I owned a 73 RD 350 for the street. Back in those days my friend and I swapped bikes from time to time. He liked the lightweight and easy handling characteristics of my RD. And of course, I occasionally enjoyed tapping into the “big” H2’s raw power source. Later on I bought a 1973 H2 and another 73 RD 350. By my experience, Kawi made some changes to the 73 H2--its first gear didn’t have the “long legs” of the 72 model.

That a fender jazz bass in the first pic?
I don’t know much about guitars odot. Maybe I could zoom in on the pic for ya and send ya a copy if you’d like.

Was able to resize the pic of the H2.

It looks like a P-bass to me, odot. Note the pots on the pickguard (instead of separate chrome plate) and the P-bass pick-up. The block fret markers on the maple neck remind me of a limited edition Fender made not too long ago, Roscoe somebody or Stu whatever model. In recent decades or two, Fender has offered variations with a p-bass p-up and a bridge p-up (like the J bass) -- but I'd bet it's a Fender Precision bass -- wider neck, P-bass pup, pots in pickguard, but looks like a two p-up special edition or artist version like the one I mentioned.

Fender did put out a special edition "geddy lee jazz" bass. Was just curious.

It has two words on the part where one adjusts the tension on the strings. I believe the word, lettered in white, that is written perpendicular to the strings is “Cpiphago”. But I’m not sure that is the correct spelling. Zooming in tends to blur :glasses-smiley02: the pic. The word that is written in gold letters, and runs parallel to the strings, kinda looks like “Junior”. But once again, I'm not sure.

Anyway, the bottom of it says, “Knoxville MOTORSPORTS & EXPO 2007 Best of Show CAR”. The Kawasaki dealer where these bikes and items are on display is in Crossville, TN.

odot's talking about the cream colored bass on the wall in the first pic. You're referring to the Epiphone guitar (looks like Epiphones' version of a Les Paul Special.

odot -- yeah, the Geddy Lee Jazz bass had those block markers on a maple board, but no P-bass (offset) pickup, and had the typical chrome plate for the pots of the Jazz bass. I'm pretty sure I've seen this one before, but I'm damned if I can specifically recall the model.

Haven't personally seen geddy's bass other then live.....and that was a football field away. Interesting setup he's got when they play live, though. Goes right to the main PA and monitors.
