Thousand mile day.

I haven't had a thousand mile day, but I've ridden at a thousand-mile-a-day PACE. Just last week I rode 60 miles in an hour, so that's under 18 hours for the thousand. No problem.

Anyone done one? It's totally doable. I've ridden over 850 miles in a day but it has always been on mostly 2 lane roads. I want to get that notch on my belt.

I have done it multiple times, on both the FJR and also on my Nighthawk. So Cal to Oregon and back two days later. In fact, I will be doing it again in Aug.

The FJR handles like an absolute pig when the tires are too low. I like 40-42 front and 42-44 rear and I find anything much below 38/40 (F/R) to be noticeable.

The best pressures for my 2010, running Michelin 5s. Already bought my 6s.
