Here are my three steeds for now. Beemer is sold :-( Not sure what the next one will be!

I hate you. LOL. 2005 was a good year for you and your motorcycle dealers. KTM Super Duke or ZX-14 would fit in nicely and be a lot of fun!

Nice! Is there anything stock left on the Feej
The frame.

My local riding buddy said, ah... sporting, sportier, and sportiest. He suggested a gold wing for the left side of the lineup. I'm not ready for that. Perhaps a Brutale 910R...

How do you like the F4? I heard an interesting analogy from a former MV owner a few weeks back about this specific bike, but, maybe this guy just got a bad one.

Not exactly word for word, but, you'll get the gist of it...

He said the F4 is like the head cheerleader when you were in high school. You want her. All of your friends want her. If you finally get her, when you're with her, all of your friends are envious. You then eventually find out she's no better than the other girls and, while she's still sexy as hell, it doesn't outweigh all of the quirks, problems, and maintenance that come along with it. And at the end of the day, you figure out that you liked her a lot more before you had her.

To the extent I can fold my body in half and then tilt my neck at a 130 degree angle I LOVE it. I've ridden quite a few bikes. The MV is no panacea, but its style in unmatched in my view. It really is beautiful. Getting down to nuts and bolts, the engine is smoother than ice cream, tranny is tight, brakes are a disappointment pre-'07, but the suspension is AWESOME. This thing tracks and inspires real confidence like no other sport bike I've tried.

Having said all of that, it's going in the shop tomorrow to be completely reborn. I'm tossing all of the brake and suspension components. All will be replaced by race bits by the guy managing the US MV race team... Eraldo Ferracci. When done it will be a unique bike. I can't wait!

You like the exotic, so an Aprilla Turuno Factory R. Go nekid and have some fun.

Uh been there done that.

I test rode that bike a year ago. Awesome, but very tall for me. I'm a small guy (except in the important place). It felt like I was riding a BMW GS. No thanks. The Brutale was a much smaller bike ... made for my frame and with awesome feel/handling.

Have ya' thought about a Harley... :yahoo:

VERY nice looking collection!!!

I hope I didn't post my address, but HARLEY'S SUCK. Hey, if ya want to spend your hard earned money on technically inferior products, lousy performance, marginal build quality and premium pricing...GO FOR IT!

Why did you sell the Beemer???
In a moment of weakness I caved to pressure from the wife who said three bikes was too many. I've committed to the sale with a good buyer so I'll go through with it. I'm taking a bath on 10k in upgrades, but that's expected. If she balks at my going back to three bikes I'll trade her in instead.

The beemer is awesome.

i've actually considered trading the FJR in for the Beemer.....but the cost of owning a BMW scared me.

Very nice! Sorry about the beemer. I have three blue gurlz in my stable also. My FJR, an '01 beemer 1150GS, and a '00 H/D Road King. Love them all, different tools for different tasks!
