I bought a Throttlemiestar from a forum member and it came with no instructions. I doubt he has them as it came with his bike when he bought it used and I tried the search thing without any luck. Would anybody out there have them or be able to describe it to a novice. There seems to be a lot of extra pieces that make no sense and the website doesn't show anything.

Thanks. :)

I found this for you

Google search "throttlemeister site:fjrforum.com"

That Google search tool works

Here's what I have saved.

Link1 Link2 Link3

The last link being some important tips in getting it set just right.

If you come up with any specific questions or problems there are many of us to help you out.

I installed mine & I don't recall having any issues or recall the directions being critical.

Found my instructions in the garage. PM a mailing address to me, and I'll xerox 'em and send 'em out.
Somebody ahead of you posted some pictures of the instructions and with my cheater glasses I could make it out. It made more sense once you figure out to remove the insert from the right side although it will work without doing that but then you don't have enough pieces for the other side. I don't understand why they don't want their product used with Hot Grips other than lawyer speak but time will tell. The throttle tube will grow in length a little with heat so I did the final adjustment with the grips on full hot and I will carry an allen wrench along for fine tuning. Thanks for the help!!

Hey gang, does anybody have the part number for an '07?

And has anything changed from that first link provided by Joe? Can't believe how many people had to replace their handlebars; don't want this project to turn into hundreds of dollars.

I'm building my bike right now (panel swap), but the tech installed the bar ends, so didn't see exactly what was in there. Hope there's no chance of screwing the handlebars like those reported (mostly '05s). Thanks.

JC
