I am pleasantly surprised by the quietness of the FJR engine. After many enjoyable miles on my old Kawa Zephyr 750 (which literally sounds like a John Deere combine, especially when cold), the quiet bubble behind the windscreen of the Feej is almost spooky.
I notice with the screen fully up, I hear intermittant little clicking sounds under light load and throttle. Nothing alarming, just normal mechanical sounds down there. I tend to agree that it may be the FI doing it's thing. Would never hear anything that subtle with the wind tossing my helmet all around like on the Zeph at highway speeds.
Have I said yet how much I LOVE this bike!
