Since this is the Season to Adjust the Clock... here it is:

Clock mode

To set the clock:

Turn the Ignition Key to the "On" Position

1. Push the SELECT button and

RESET button together for at

least two seconds.

2. When the hour digits start flashing,

push the RESET button to set

the hours.

3. Push the SELECT button, and

the minute digits will start flashing.

4. Push the RESET button to set

the minutes.

5. Push the SELECT button and

then release it to start the clock.

An advantage of living in the tundra.....

My bike will go into hibernation in a few weeks' time and when I get it out again, the time will have changed back.

No clock adjustment required

Like Mary Ellen, my bike is mostly put away. But when I go out to do something to it, I look at the clock and my mind wanders to a better time of year.

+1. Also, my battery is in the basement on a tender. :)

Please wake me up when Spring arrives.

Al.

I may be old and possibly have CRS but isn't a crucial first step

missing from the procedure?

I'm with MEM on this one. My clock on the FJR stays on daylight savings time all year.

In fact I take it to the extreme and leave the clock on all my vehicles on daylight savings and simply mentally adjust during the cold months.

Ah, the advantages of weak batteries and crummy starters.... knowing by heart how to set the clock!

I like the spring forward but not the fall back schedule.

Just leave on the spring forward mode and all is good with me.

G.V.hudson and William Willett should have just minded their own business. :angry2:

Hm....my clock should be on since I didn't change it from the last time change....
