Thanks, whataboutbob. As an engineer by profession and a geek by genetics, the Shuttle gives me goose bumps and a lump in my throat. I tell folks that it's the pinnacle of human technical achievement, and I mean it.
Best part? The pauses while they jiggled it up/down, left/right to clear traffic signal poles, trees, or turn a corner. She's a fine piece of machinery, isn't she?
