Ionbeam - the only riding I do is the bike (that I'm prepared to say in public, anyway). I assure you the wellies are genuine Italian rubber, bought about 10 years ago for £6.
And there's enough lawn to mow; some of the earth-works are making more grass.

Scoot - I've only had a minor off, even with that I had a moment's doubt. But after the plastic was fixed, I was in love again. (Never stopped loving SWMBO. Perhaps that's where I've gone wrong?)

Johnny - Bought the house 10 years ago from a bankrupt builder. Been gradually pulling it into shape. Since I've officially retired, I'm having to do all those jobs that were "YDWIR" jobs (that's "yes, dear, when I retire"). Mind you, I'm still going to work about two days a week, so I get some rest. And 3 miles of FJR each way, twice a week.

Z - Believe me, even a little one takes some filling. Particularly when everything you are digging out has to be loosened with a pick-axe (technically a mattock in my case, but who's being technical?).

Being in California with nice weather this summer - I'm afraid my lawn is overgrown, and weeds are popping up everywhere... but when I DO have to get chores done - they're done in record time.
BITS - See stuff above about SWMBO. Just can't get away with it. But without her, I wouldn't be riding at all, it's she who encouraged me back on the saddle after a 35 year gap!
